Loving Hearts,
Caring Hands

History

The Raglan Rest Home and Hospital started its life, sitting majestically at the top of Manukau Road, with extensive Sea views right out to the bar, on 10th October 1952.

The plans were drawn up on 1st September 1950 for the Waikato District Hospital Board as a satellite Maternity Hospital, with an official opening by Hilda Ross in October 1952.

Services

Raglan Rest Home and Hospital is proud to be able to offer a variety of services and prides itself on being flexible, working hard to meet the individual and family needs that present themselves.

Having Hospital level Care means that there is always a Registered Nurse on-site, with plenty of back-up available; these benefits residents requiring any level of Care.

Activities

Activities are at the heart of the Raglan Rest Home and Hospital and we continually strive to come up with new ideas that meet the ever-changing needs of the residents. We are always open to trying new things and discarding those that are not working at any particular time.
